Selection
Positions ranging from £40,000 – £80,000 require an advertised selection approach, where we incorporate a mix of targeted print and web advertising, combined with our extensive candidate network. We are also available outside of office hours, by phone and email, to promote your vacancy. After initially telephone interviewing those candidates that meet the job profile, we conduct face to face interviews against the skill and behavioural competencies of the position and wider organisation. Only then do we provide a short list of the most qualified candidates, with a report detailing their key competencies, motivations and required compensation packages. This enables our clients to save time, and gives them the visibility to make the most informed choice from the best pool of talent the market has to offer.
Search
Positions from £80,000 + require a ‘search’ approach. Carpathian Consulting has a strong track record in the successful delivery of search led assignments throughout the UK and across Europe as a whole. We combine a search of our extensive network with a market mapping exercise that identifies the key talent in the market, before making discreet, confidential approaches to further assess suitability and interest.
After competency based interviews with the most suitable candidates, we provide a shortlist of those who most closely meet the selection brief. A detailed report is then drafted providing a profile of each individual and an assessment against the clients’ desired hiring criteria. The thoroughness of this approach allows for a more comprehensive assessment of candidates and ultimately a more informed hiring decision.
